Mr. Kitchen started his career in banking during '79 and then joined CheckFree Corporation as one of its original members in '82, and during his 15 year tenure provided a key contribution in growing CheckFree from a start-up venture to an industry leader in electronic commerce. He has been involved with the development and marketing of business and consumer products and services in the "online" industry since its emergence in the 80's, and transformation to the Internet during the 90's.

Mr. Kitchen was responsible for bringing CheckFree's first software products to market, and for the initial integration of electronic bill payment services with products such as Quicken, and Microsoft Money. As VP of Corporate Business Development he created partnerships and products with Fortune 500 financial services organizations, developing early ties between banking, bill payment, and brokerage services. He began piloting CheckFree E-Bill in the Fall of '95 and went on to manage all aspects of the E-Bill market release, and early development of the OFX industry standard. His team was awarded honors for the product by the Smithsonian ComputerWorld organization and is named in the Electronic Payments and E-Bill patents later submitted by CheckFree.

Joining Banc One Corporation during '97 as the VP of Business Development for Interactive Delivery Services, he forged co-marketing relationships with several Internet content providers and financial services organizations. While there he devoted much of his skills to developing and implementing partnerships and product rollouts with many of the leading organizations in the e-commerce industry.
In 1998 Mr. Kitchen founded e-com partners in order to serve the needs of corporations, start-up companies, venture capital, and legal firms in the emerging arena of electronic commerce. He has since worked with a wide variety of such organizations and is a frequently featured speaker at industry conferences and workshops.

During 2005 and 2006 Mr. Kitchen worked for Sterling Commerce as the Global Product Line Manager for Financial Services.  Being brought on board to take fledgling financial services efforts from research stage to reality he supported a dual product and marketing role in driving strategic planning, solution development, and primary messaging. He then secured approval for the establishment of the company’s first “Emerging Business Unit”, effectively establishing a start-up venture within a $500 million dollar company, leading teams of product management, engineering, consulting, sales, marketing and channel/technology partner personnel in rapidly bringing Sterling’s first packaged financial services offerings to market in the North American, European, and Asia Pacific regions.

Mr. Kitchen continues to act as Managing Partner for e-com partners, multi-tasking in executive and functional roles with teams of professionals in both large organizations and small start-ups. He holds a BA in Marketing from Miami of Ohio, and an MBA from the University of Dayton.                         FULL RESUME
